Olibert Sanchez is a very talented chef. Originally from Guerrero Mexico, Olibert moved to NYC in 2004 at the age of eighteen. Started his career in the dish pit like all great chefs and moved his way to the top. Some notable restaurants he has cooked at are Dylan Prime, Red Rooster for Chef Marcus Samuelsson and Piora a one Michelin star restaurant for Chef Chris Cipollone. Olibert came to Rick’s 2017 to work with Chef Jayson Margulies and has helped to transform the cuisine into what it is currently today. Olibert has become a part of the Rick’s family and is looking forward to future and what else is to come.
